A beautiful old stone building formerly a 17th century coaching inn, The Devonshire Arms Hotel and Spa at Bolton Abbey welcomes you with warm hospitality and traditional interiors. Located on the sprawling estate with picture-perfect scenery, the hotel is a much-loved gem in the Yorkshire Dales.
Housing fine art from the Chatsworth’s Devonshire Collection, The Devonshire Arms Hotel and Spa at Bolton Abbey remains true to its heritage. You’ll find traditional country-chic design alongside many original features such as sash windows and open fireplaces.

Food & Drink
Having notched up 3 AA Rosettes, The Burlington Restaurant serves up impressive dishes. Expect to find main course such as Salt Aged Yorkshire Duck or Wild Turbot on the menu. Inspired by the seasons, chefs pay homage to the produce from Yorkshire’s very own country larder.
If you want to enjoy something a little more informal. The Brasserie and Bar is a vibrant hub of the hotel and menus are packed with hearty favourites of British and French classics. Alternatively, you can simply unwind with a cocktail or afternoon tea.
Laurent-Perrier Champagne & Seafood Terrace
Experience their alfresco dining terrace on a fabulous Summer evening whilst sampling some of Yorkshire’s most delicious seafood. Freshly caught off the coast of Lindisfarne and East Yorkshire; the Laurent-Perrier Champagne & Seafood Terrace also serves a selection of chilled Champagne, wine and spirits to refresh your palate.
The Devonshire Spa
A place for pure indulgence, The Devonshire Spa is a pure oasis of calm. Set inside the converted barn next to the main building, you’ll find a number of therapy rooms, indoor swimming pool, steam room and sauna, Jacuzzi, Rasul temple and relaxation area with lounge.

With so much natural beauty right on the doorstep, there are countless things to do. Take a ride on the Embsay and Bolton Abbey Steam Railway, try your hand at fly fishing, explore Bolton Abbey or go hiking among the Three Peaks.

Most of the Classic rooms can be found in the New Wing and many boast a garden view. Twin rooms and doubles are available.

Strewn across the Old and New Wings, the Superior rooms are individually designed with classical furnishings. Somme of the rooms feature a four poster bed and each room has a view across the Italian box garden and the countryside.
On the ground floor of the New Wing, the Suites have a 6ft four poster bed, separate sitting room and cloakroom. Windows take in views of the Bolton Abbey Estate and the Yorkshire Dales.
