Situated in the wing which was added to the main building in 1997, these suites are peaceful and each has its own access onto the gardens and private patio area. Troutbeck -With triple aspects, this suite boasts immense views of the gardens, ponds and waterfalls, woodland, croquet lawn and llama paddock. The room is draped in a mixture of woollen and chenille fabrics.

Grasmere – This is the perfect place for watching the sunrise and sinking into total relaxation. A mixture of fabrics, aubergine and taupe tones and Textura wallpaper immerse guests in pure decadence.

Patterdale – Patio doors let the light flood into this light room where cream shades are highlighted with splashes of orange.

Thirlmere – The Victorian wrought iron four poster bed is the centrepiece of this split level suite. Patio doors overlook the llama paddock and croquet lawn, where guests can watch the beautiful sunsets.

Buttermere – Also on a split level, Buttermere enjoys the same views as Thirlmere. An earthy palette gives the suite a stylish and tranquil ambience.

Kentmere – Not only providing the ultimate in elegance and sophistication, Kentmere offers views of the llama paddock and woodland. Aztec prints and vinyl wallpaper enhance the linen colour scheme.

Most of these rooms can be found on the first floor in the original part of the hotel, retaining striking Georgian features. Facilities include flat screen television, luxury toiletries, mini bar and hospitality tray with home made biscuits.

Lyth – Uninterrupted views of the countryside and ancient gardens make this a really special room. Rich tones mingle with designer wallpaper and fabrics, bringing you the utmost in luxury.

Crinkle Crags – Maximising the sunlight and phenomenal views, this suite is both luxurious and tranquil. A fascinating contrast of opulent furnishings, warm golds and accent wallpaper create a unique and sumptuous character.
