Perfectly placed amidst the vivid scenery of the North York Moors lies Helmsley, a quaint village bursting with charm. The Feversham Arms Hotel and Verbena Spa in Helmsley is a stunningly stylish escape where you can do as much or as little as you like. Of the 33 rooms here, there are 20 suites, each designed to be contemporary and comfortable with a Yorkshire twist. Expect luxurious Egyptian cotton sheets and Temple Spa toiletries.

Helmsley Castle makes a wonderful picnic spot where you can soak up the views after exploring the ancient ruins and learning about the rich history.
The International Centre for Birds of Prey is set within the beautiful Duncombe parkland, where you can watch spectacular birds soar overhead, enjoy a Hawk Walk and look around the aviaries.
Feversham Arms Hotel Rooms
Each of their Classic Rooms are individually styled, situated in the original grade 2 listed area of the hotel and are front facing with views of the street below. Some of these rooms have a king-size bed, whilst others are cosy with double beds. Most of these rooms have a bathroom with shower over bath, however a couple have a standalone shower only. These rooms are cosy but perfect if you’re looking for a base whilst enjoying our facilities and the local area.
The Main House Suites are light and airy with a separate lounge area and king-size bed, featuring an en-suite bathroom with a large walk-in shower and separate bath. These suites are located around the hotel, and all have a different style. Some overlook the road, or are up in the eaves of the hotel, whilst others overlook the pool.
Their poolside suites are cottage-like in style and have direct access to the outdoor heated pool. Two are ‘penthouse’ suites with a private staircase down to the pool, some are on the ground floor with a private terrace onto the poolside. These suites include an en-suite with a large walk-in shower and separate double ended bathtub.
These spa suites are located in the spa wing of the hotel and are modern country chic in style with neutral tones throughout, with some of these suites have balconies with seating areas overlooking the pool or churchyard, whilst others have Juliet balconies. These suites also include an en-suite with a large walk-in shower and separate bathtub.
