A Magical Night At Manor House Lindley

26th February 2019

The first thing I noticed as I stepped into the incredible Manor House Lindley was the stylish interior design they had incorporated throughout every room of this hotel. Every inch of this beautiful space coordinated perfectly from the three, Gatsby-era styled bars and intricate floor design to sweet Pomegranate aroma and moody lighting.

Manor House Lindley

After being exclusively shown to our room – Room One – my partner and I marvelled at the gorgeous space before us. Grandiose, original Georgian windows flooded natural light into our room, perfectly infusing with the dark, moody furnishings and lighting. Our king-sized, four-poster bed spotlighted our room with a double-height ceiling and the same sweet aroma which filled the spaces downstairs.

Our bathroom featured a sumptuous, silver roll-top bath with a separate walk-in shower, dual marble-topped wash basins and luxurious Temple Spa toiletries. The rich morning light from the grandiose Georgian windows illuminated this space perfectly with intricate pink and orange hues reflecting along the walls!

After being shown around the hotel, we headed towards the bar area for a cheeky cocktail before dinner. This exquisite space captivated the bygone-era perfectly with moody lighting featuring splashes of vibrant colour, a stylish bar and the same intricate floor. Each of the dining spaces boasted uniquely different decor and furnishings, yet keeping to the suave ambience of the hotel.

The Clocktower Lounge, which resided beside the bar area for afternoon tea and drinks, featured three gorgeous chandeliers, beautiful wallpaper and a mirrored wall at the end. Each marble-topped table featured vibrant, velted seats.

The Lantern Room, which is used for evening dinners, demonstrated the up-most elegance with delicate ceiling art, unique pieces of artwork, original brick walls and a floor-to-ceiling original window at the end of the room; allowing light to flood through.

The Kitchen is one of the most beautiful rooms of the hotel and is used for breakfast with delicious cakes, fresh fruit juices and freshly cooked full English breakfasts with coffees or tea. This beautiful space features an array of real, flourishing flowers, elegantly hanging from the ceiling with glass walls and a skylight, allowing an abundance of natural light to flood through.

After finishing our delicious cocktails, we headed over to The Lantern Room for our long-awaited, 9-course tasting menu dinner – exclusive for the Valentine’s week. Each course within this specially designed menu oozed in euphoria with my partner and I’s eyes lighting up with each individual bite which I will describe in detail below. After our meal, we decided to head back to our amazing room so I could indulge in the roll-top bath for a well deserved bubble bath.

That night, I had the best nights sleep of my life. The combination of squishy, soft pillows with the Memory Foam mattresses created a sumptuous haven to snooze which I definitely did not want to leave!

After arising from our slumbers, we headed to The Kitchen for our bountiful breakfast. The gorgeous space occupied a delicious cake-like scent with a fabulous array of freshly baked treats and natural fruit juices. I decided to treat myself and indulge in their pancakes, whereas my partner chose the more, “grown up,” option of Eggs Florentine – both dishes tasted exquisite.

My stay at Manor House Lindley felt perfect from check-in until check-out with each staff member ensuring that my stay ran smoothly and luxuriously. I will definitely be back soon!
