Dating back to 1879 with a wealth of history, The Mole Resort is both an impressive destination and a fascinating story. Beginning as a family home across 40 years, built with quarried stone from within the estate, The Mole Resort’s ground floor rooms within The Mansion became classrooms, with the grounds being maintained by German prisoners of war, before later becoming one of the finest hotels in Devon.
The Mole Resort is the idyllic, family-friendly destination within a picture-perfect area of the North Devon countryside. Not only does The Mole Resort offer an affluent array of activities from their indoor and outdoor swimming pools to the indoor games room at The Hub, whilst retaining the calm and relaxing ambience of the surrounding woodland and meadows.
Perfect for romance: enjoy The Mole Resort’s 127-acres of peaceful countryside ambience, staying in either the exquisite rooms and suites within the Victorian Mansion overlooking that incredible view, or the luxurious, two-bed self-catering lodges along the serene edges of the estate.
