• Golf Course: Budock Vean Golf Course, nestled within the serene 65-acre estate of Budock Vean Hotel near Falmouth, Cornwall, offers a distinctive golfing experience. Designed in the 1920s by the renowned Scottish golfer and five-time Open Champion James Braid, this 9-hole, 18-tee course is celebrated for its challenging layout and scenic beauty. The course meanders through mature parkland, with the first tee just steps from the hotel’s golf bag room, providing a seamless transition from relaxation to recreation. Notably, the 16th hole, aptly named ‘A Lot of Money,’ stands as the second-longest golf hole in Cornwall, stretching 572 yards and demanding precision and strategy . Another highlight is the 9th hole, ‘The Flower Bowl,’ renowned as one of the finest short holes in the region . The mild Cornish climate ensures the course remains playable year-round, making it an attractive destination for golf enthusiasts. From 1st July 2026, hotel guests enjoy half-price golf on 9- or 18-hole rounds (weekday and weekend prices may vary)
