Known as “The Enchanted Place on the Hill”, Boringdon Hall lets you step back in time among its fabulous period features. Huge ornate ceilings tower above wood panelling, flagstone floors and mullion windows, while antique tapestries hang from the walls. Above the stone mantle and fireplace in the Great Hall, a Coat of Arms is testament to the incredible history of this Elizabethan building.
Full of grandeur and constant reminders of its rich past, the house has been stylishly renovated to create one of the most impressive luxury hotels in Plymouth. Guests can choose from two different dining experiences at Boringdon Hall. Àclèaf Restaurant, which has a Michelin Star and 4 AA Rosettes, offers a truly elegant dining experience by Head Chef Scott Paton. Using fresh local produce in Scott’s unique style, this dining expereince is not to be missed. Alternatively, you can enjoy a more relaxed experience in the brasserie-style Wembury Restaurant. There is also private dining available in one of the elegant rooms. Whether your prefer a 7 course tasting menu, informal buffet or Champagne and canapes, the events team are happy to meet your requirements.
Gaia Spa

There are several rooms in the hotel that can be used for the ceremony and reception or, in the warmer months, you can opt for an outdoor wedding in an elegant marquee. Rooms
These are the most compact rooms and are found in the newest wing of the hotel. They are more contemporary in style and are perfect for cosy romantic breaks or business stays.

Modern, spacious and light, these modern rooms are dog friendly and are also located in the newest wing. Guests can choose from a twin or double layout.

Beautifully designed with hand carved four poster beds and antique furniture that complement the period features, these rooms are simply stunning, with some featuring in-room freestanding baths. If you want your stay to be extra special, these rooms are ideal.

This modern suite boasts a separate lounge and an outdoor terrace area with a private hot tub, so you can really make an impression for that romantic occasion. The suite also has an Apple TV, PlayStation 3 and complimentary chocolates.

Spread over three floors, this wonderful suite features a private dining area, lounge, double bedroom, private hot tub and marble bathroom with freestanding bath. For extra indulgence, you can enjoy complimentary chocolates and treats from the mini fridge.

Rich in historic charm, infused with contemporary influences, The Saltram Suite is another newly refurbished suite with crystal chandeliers, a luxuriously modern lounge area and a super-king sized bed. Cosy up by the free-standing fireplace or relax within the double-ended, free-standing bath. This luxurious suite includes a flatscreen LCD TV, a mini fridge, a twin shower, beautiful garden views and Gaia Skincare products.
