The estate that envelops Lucknam Park provides a picture perfect backdrop, and with 35 horses and acres of pristine countryside to explore, there’s few riding schools anywhere quite as beautiful this.
You will find many different types of horse riding opportunities here, so whether you are a novice, adults with children, or an experienced rider, there is something for all sizes and abilities. Perhaps you want to try your hand at dressage, learn show jumping skills or simply take in the striking Cotswold scenery.
Come rain or shine, the all-weather arena at Lucknam Park Equestrian Centre is the ideal place for horse riding classes, and all of the staff are fully qualified instructors.

Saddle & Spa
Combine your passion for horses with a luxury spa experience by joining us at Lucknam Park for our Saddle and Spa Day. Ride through the 500 acres of stunning parkland before enjoying a delicious lunch and heading over to relax in our award-winning spa. We have 35 beautiful horses to suit all capabilities, and our highly trained staff will guide you through the estate. This spa day includes one hour instructional hack, two course lunch in The Brasserie and use of our spa facilities, robe and slippers.
10.45am – Arrival and register at the stables
11.00am – 12.00pm – One hour instructional hack
12.30pm – 2.00pm – Two course lunch in The Brasserie
2.00pm – 4.00pm – Relax in the Spa pool and thermal cabins
This spa day is available Tuesday to Thursday, subject to availability.
The cost of this day is £135 per person based on two people. Subject to availability.

Pony Time
This is the perfect package for young children who have a love for ponies. As well as being able to ride through parkland, they can learn how to look after a field or stable pony. The children will be able to spend two hours with the pony and also enjoy riding instruction.
