The Singing Ringing Tree

Standing on top of the Pennine Hills, looking out across Burnley, the Singing Ringing Tree was completed in 2006 and is one of the four sculptures that make up the Panopticans project. The sculpture was constructed from steel, and as the wind flows through it, it creates harmonic sounds.
