Fabulously British

20th August 2013

Forget clicking your red shoes together and wishing to be somewhere over the rainbow, Britain has recently shown just how wonderful this country can really be. The Royals and our sporting heros have certainly put Britain on the map for being magical, from the fairytale weddings and the birth of a Prince to brave and strong Olympians.

I cannot deny that this recent hot weather has injected colour and beauty from coast to coast, allowing us to fully appreciate National Trust Gardens, Blue Flag Beaches and the 50 shades of green (not grey) that our countryside features. It has become more popular for couples and families to book last minute holidays for the summer; however I am putting forward the idea of a traditional British Break. No matter what your age, tastes or hobbies the unique experience of England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales will provide you with unforgettable memories in your home country.

Amazing Hotels

At the weekend my family and I plan to head to Wales for a crazy day of White Water Rafting (Not sure how I feel about this) and we are staying at the lovely Outbuildings. After spending a few weeks with Crisp White Sheets I am amazed at how many hotels also offer fantastic activities and facilities. For example you can go horse riding at Lucknam Park, kayaking at Auchrannie Resort, falconry at Peckforton Castle, fishing at The Peacock and so much more. You can take your family, friends, colleagues or just make it a golfing and spa getaway for you and the better half. Either way a fabulously British week away or even just a post holiday weekend can provide you with a vibrant city, stunning coastlines and a cosy country retreats.

Depending on whether I survive this rafting experience, I fully intend on spending the rest of my summer taking full advantage of what my beautiful country has to offer and of course using CrispWhiteSheets along the way!
