The hotel stands with grace, adjacent to Westonbirt Arboretum, which is a colourful spectacle in the summer and autumn months. The arboretum is open throughout the year so you can witness the changing colours that each season brings. The Beaufort Polo Club, which has been attended by Princes William and Harry, also neighbours the hotel.
Only two miles from the historic market town of Tetbury in the Cotswolds, the hotel can be easily reached from the M4 and M5. The distinctive city of Bath is just 20 miles away and makes for an interesting day out when you stay at the Hare and Hounds.
The interior of the hotel is equally as impressive as its façade and the enveloping countryside. Upon entering, you are welcomed into a world of unique beauty, where attention to detail is paramount. Parquet flooring leads to open fireplaces and lies beneath unique furniture that gives it a completely individualistic feel. Striking wallpaper and unusual artwork dress the walls and add to the country-chic style of the hotel.
A relaxed and homely ambience flows throughout every room, providing guests with a laid-back stay. All bedrooms are beautifully dressed, and the Beaufort Restaurant offers award-winning dining.
The Hare and Hounds Tetbury is a seriously cool hotel. Although the hotel is dripping in style and fascinating quirks that make it stand out from the crowd, the Game Keepers Suite is definitely one of its greatest highlights. When you book the Something to Celebrate package, you will find chocolates, champagne and a gift set on arrival. You also have access to a private hot tub in the secluded garden.
