The extensive renovation remained sympathetic to the building and has seamlessly fused old with new. You can expect smart TVs, chandeliers, oak flooring and an impressive four poster bed. There is a wonderfully calm ambience that invites you to relax. The double bedroom is ultra chic with an ensuite bathroom with large walk in shower and double bath, and in the colder months the heated floor is a welcome addition.

The living room features a comfy leather sofa, stone floor, unique firebowl and exposed beamed ceiling. The French windows open onto the private patio where you will find the large, warm and bubbling Canadian Spa Hot-Tub – just for you. Dannah Cottages, although self-catering, is filled with delightful extras – from the wine chilling ready in the fridge to the luxurious toiletries and fluffy bath robes – and much, much more. In the kitchen guests will find all the equipment they need for a luxury self catering break, as well as lots of little extras to make their stay one to remember.

As well as the main living room, Heather Cottage also boasts the snug, where guests may want to dine a little more formally for that special anniversary meal, or just have a little ‘me time’. Through here is also the small but perfectly formed wet room, with access to the patio, ideal for a quick shower before jumping in the hot tub. The large Canadian Spa hot tub is set on a private terrace with stone built barbeque and unique outdoor furniture. Next to the hot tub is The Den, perfect for changing before diving in the tub or indulging in a quick game of scrabble with your nearest and dearest.

With spellbinding views of the surrounding scenery to the front and rear of Dannah Cottages, this is a wonderful place for pure relaxation.

The French windows that lead off the lounge allow access to the private patio, where you are greeted with twisted wooden table and seats, a hand crafted barbecue and – the piece de resistance – the inviting Canadian hot tub, which lets you immerse yourself in its soothing bubbles. Next to the hot tub The Den is a cosy space with a Scandinavian feel and seating area, great for either changing before you take a dip in the tub, or for unwinding with a game or two.

The modern galley kitchen is beautifully designed and has all the facilities needed for a luxury self catering stay in the Peak District. The vibrant space is equipped with oven, fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher, flat screen television, washer/dryer, cutlery, crockery and utensils. Here you will find lots of little extras, from the homemade cake to a selection of breakfast goodies

If, however, you prefer to take a break from the kitchen during your stay, you can indulge in the wonderful Derbyshire farmhouse breakfast at Dannah Farm, just a short drive away.

The living room is inviting and cosy with a leather sofa, firebowl and 40” television. You also have access to the garden from the French windows. The snug adjoins the living room and is a charming space with a sofa and dining area perfect for a romantic candlelit meal. It also joins onto a fully tiled wet room with a toilet and basin, which can be accessed from the garden.
