Dating back to 1906, this Grade II Listed building has undergone some serious renovation and has been brought back to the former glory of the city’s notable trading centre. Owned by Winston Zahra and former footballers Ryan Giggs and Gary Neville, The Stock Exchange Hotel in Manchester is located between the bustling Market Street and King Street.

The hotel has just made the city a whole lot cooler and has become the hottest place to stay and dine. But it’s not just the architecture that’s impressive, the interiors are something else. Huge, spacious rooms with fabulous windows, marble fireplaces and dizzying, ornate ceilings take the hotel to another level.

The devil is certainly in the detail of this luxury, boutique hotel. The ultra-stylish design is nothing short of opulence, yet it retains a laid-back atmosphere where you’ll feel relaxed and pampered at the same time. From floor to ceiling, the place is dripping in high-end furnishings. Combining contemporary sophistication with Edwardian Baroque architecture, this is one heady concoction that demands attention.

Every aspect of The Stock Exchange Hotel has been carefully considered from its accessibility to its extensive facilities. Good old-fashioned hospitality, the Bellman and the black and white chequered reception floor makes you feel like you’ve stepped onto a film set.

Facilities

Rooms and Suites

If you think the rest of the hotel is showstopping, the rooms and suites will leave you reeling in excitement. There are 40 rooms at The Stock Exchange Hotel, which also include two Signature Suites and a fully serviced residence named The House.

The Bull and Bear at The Stock Exchange

Headed by Chef Tom Kerridge, The Bull and Bear is an imposing restaurant set beneath the domed ceiling of the former trading floor. Combining grandeur with an informal atmosphere, you don’t feel like you must put on airs and graces here.

Circular, leather banquettes and an open kitchen add to the intimacy and drama. Classic, British comfort food with an edge is the culinary focus with dishes such as Fish Fritters and Pease Pudding or Chicken Kiev with Maple Glazed Butternut Squash on the menu.

Indulge in a cocktail or two at the swanky bar or slink into the Resident’s Lounge for after-dinner drinks with friends.

Additional Services

If you want to make sure you’re in tip-top condition for an all-important business meeting in the city or a romantic dinner date, there’s a whole host of services. Shoe shining, tailoring, dry cleaning, hairstylist, make-up artist, personal trainer and personal shopper are all available on request.
