The Pier Restaurant
Situated on the first floor of the hotel, The Pier Restaurant is the go-to place for food lovers. With phenomenal views of the harbour, this is the perfect place to indulge in the wonderfully fresh seafood and fish dishes as you watch the warm orange and pink sunsets sink below the horizon. There is also a fantastic grill menu, which can be accompanied by a cocktail, cask ale or something from the European wine list. Designed by Geraldine Milsom, the interior mixes elegance with chic urbanity that also captures the roots of Harwich.
On the ground floor of the hotel, NAVYÄRD is a seriously cool bar with a subtle continental vibe. In the warmer months, you can sit out on the terrace and enjoy a bite to eat from the Nordic inspired bar menu along with one of the many types of gin in the most beautiful setting. This is a lively hangout with stylish, industrial design where friends come to share tasty plates of food, a few drinks and lots of laughs.

Being in such a fabulous location on the coast, there are countless attractions and things to do in Harwich and the surrounding area. Close by you will find golf courses and beautiful walking trails, and there are also activities such as sailing and fishing to enjoy.
Harwich has a wonderful Art Quarter where you can enjoy the rich culture and many of the colourful festivals that take place throughout the year. Alternatively, stroll along the Blue Flag beach or take a trip to the Mayflower Museum or the Electric Palace Cinema, one of the oldest purpose-built cinemas in the country. Ha’Penny Pier and Visitor Centre lets you delve into the fascinating history of Harwich.
Although these are the smallest of the rooms at The Pier, they are perfectly formed with seaside chic design. The colourful headboards and fabrics create a vibrant atmosphere for a trip to the coast.
Stylish with more space than the Standard Rooms, the Superior Rooms boast contemporary furnishings and excellent facilities. Some of the rooms offer beautiful sea views, which are great to wake up to in the morning.
Extra comfy beds and seating area are found in the Deluxe Rooms. Large sash windows let the light flood in, giving them a bright and airy atmosphere as well as some of them enjoying stunning coastal views.
This magnificent suite really is the tour de force of The Pier rooms. The large space is offset by the impressive windows that almost span the entire width of the room and frame the most incredible seascape. What we really love about this suite is the window seating area and telescopel which let you relax and admire the panorama close up.
