A stunning, private manor house in the Cotswolds
bolthole you have seen.
Wrapped inside private grounds on the 400 acre Farncombe Estate, this private manor house hotel is a Grade II Listed building, which retains wonderful original features and blends effortlessly with contemporary design. With warm hospitality, boutique rooms and exceptional food thrown into the mix, this place is seriously impressive.
Just 90 minutes from London and a stroll from Broadway village, this is the perfect retreat from the city. And just to add a little more indulgence to your stay, guests can make use of the dreamy House Spa at its sister hotel, Dormy House. Also on the estate you will find The Fish, its other sister property.
What we really love about Foxhill Manor is the total freedom you have to come and go as you please. If you don’t fancy eating at a certain time in the restaurant, you don’t have to. Just give the Chef your food preferences and he will rustle up something totally bespoke for you to eat ‘whatever you fancy, whenever you fancy’. And even your furry friend can enjoy fabulous dining from the doggy menu.
Dating back to 1909, this striking Cotswold manor is full of fascinating history and its grounds are also home to diverse wildlife. There’s every chance you might spot a fox, deer, owls or rabbits frolicking on the lawn.
Boasting just eight beautiful bedrooms, Foxhill Manor is a lovely little hideaway and small luxury hotel perfect for exclusive use. We can’t imagine anywhere more befitting for a private celebration, corporate event or wedding in the Cotswolds.
Being nestled on such a large estate, there is an exciting choice of activities on offer too, from archery and pistol shooting, to quad biking and Segway safari.
Stunning design, incredible dining, breathtaking location and the most gorgeous rooms go hand in hand to ensure guests enjoy the most perfect experience. All aspects of the hotel have been created with you in mind. Whether you’re looking for a fabulous foodie break, wanting to celebrate a special occasion or simply need a relaxing escape, you will find all the facilities at Foxhill Manor just perfect for your stay.
One of the most exciting things about staying here is the total lack of regime. There’s no such thing as set menus or traditional mealtimes at Foxhill Manor because they believe in creating a bespoke experience for each and every guest. With emphasis placed on ‘Whatever you fancy, whenever you fancy it’, you can really make your stay your own. On arrival, you will have the opportunity to meet with the Head Chef, Iain Dixon, to discuss your likes and dislikes so he can tailor a menu to suit you, and don’t worry if you change your mind, that’s completely your prerogative! Whether you have a craving for a light lunch in your bedroom, a 7 course dinner in the Dining Room or a picnic in the garden, your wish is their command. You can even tuck into some snacks and popcorn in the Screening Room.
The Pantry adds more indulgence at Foxhill Manor. Stashed with complimentary beers, soft drinks and snacks, this cupboard is a welcome extra that may just tempt you into a midnight feast.
Children above the age of 12 are invited to stay at Foxhill Manor, as well as your four legged friend. Dogs are charged at £30 per stay and they receive treats, dog bed and their very own doggy menu. Families with children under the age of 12 are welcome to stay at The Fish, its sister hotel.
Owing to its wonderful location, not only is there a choice of outdoor activities available at Foxhill Manor, there are also endless things to do in the Cotswolds. Why not try your hand at archery, quad biking, pistol shooting, tennis or Segway? The estate provides a giant outdoor playground for guests seeking adventure.
Dormy House lies on the other side of the estate and guests staying at Foxhill Manor can take advantage of the award winning House Spa. Facilities include an outdoor hot tub, infinity pool, thermal suite, Finnish sauna, lavender steam room, thalassotherapy room, ice fountain, experience shower and seven treatment rooms. Alternatively, if you fancy a little ‘me time’, you can also enjoy a treatment in the privacy of your own bedroom or suite at Foxhill Manor.
Needless to say there is an abundance of beautiful countryside walks in and around the estate, there are also many interesting places to visit nearby. Explore the chocolate box villages of Broadway and the historic market town of Chipping Campden, or soak up the history and culture of Cheltenham and Stratford-upon-Avon.
The typical Cotswold stone building, divine surroundings and elegant rooms make Foxhill Manor a perfect venue in the Cotswolds for weddings, house parties and business events. You can even take exclusive useof the hotel for a more personal touch.
Elegant and romantic, Willow has the feel of a country cottage, with wrought iron bed, pretty garden views and a freestanding roll top bath.
Vibrant reds and oranges, tactile fabrics and chunky furniture give this room a really warm and tranquil atmosphere. Maple can be found at the top of the manor and enjoys beautiful views. An extra comfy kingsize bed lies behind a curtain for the most intimate escape.
Boasting a showstopping bathroom with roll top bath, two sinks and traditional leaded windows, which lies on the other side of a walk-in wardrobe and looks out onto the garden, this is a very special room made for romance. Natural tones are offset by pretty duck egg blue furnishings and oversized headboard, and the kingsize bed can also be made into twins.
Flooded with light from the incredible windows, Birch combines natural tones with sumptuous fabrics and unusual touches. The room looks out over the Vale of Evesham and the Black Mountains of Wales. The blue bathroom is a heavenly oasis of calm where you can wash away your worries.
This is the largest of the bedrooms and its triple aspect windows make it feel even more spacious and light. A grand four poster bed and contemporary furniture, including a chaise longue, give the space a modern and totally unique feel. The large bathroom features twin sinks, walk-in shower and roll top bath.
Dressed in taupe and accentuated by splashes of yellow, Beech is modern and stylish. The bathroom’s roll top, claw foot bath sits beneath the window and looks out onto the grounds.
There is something rather distinctive about Hazel, with its large wooden TV shelves in the lounge and contrasting country style bedroom. This room is certainly a feast for the eyes.
This really is the piece de resistance at Foxhill Manor. From the four poster bed and duet slipper baths that sit in the bay window, to the sultry lounge with its feature fireplace, this is a very impressive suite with the most beautiful design and artwork.
