You can expect an undoubtedly exhilarating experience at Silverstone circuit, which has been home British racing since 1948. In 1950, Silverstone became the first to host the World Drivers’ Championship Race, which over the years has evolved to become the Grand Prix that we all know and love today.
Silverstone is well known for being one of the most challenging tracks in the world with the sounds of engines roaring around the circuit. This certainly is an unforgettable event to all who know their McLaren from their Cosworth.
The British Grand Prix 2013 will encapsulate extreme drama, as the world’s most impressive drivers contend for the top spot on the podium. Fellow Brits Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button are among the tyre screeching brigade who will be loyally fighting for a prime position.
The breath-taking activities do not end there. The 3 day occasion has a whole host of other attractions. One being illustrious air shows, where your eyes will be opened up to a treat of colours and brave expertise performing in the sky. Or why not take to the skies yourself, where you can book a pleasure flight to have you very own high perspective of the event.
The Grand Prix Party is held after the last race of the day. You will be joined by Formula 1 personalities, champion music and much more. The after race party is complimentary to the whole gathering and is a well-established tradition of the Grand Prix.
You will not go hungry at Silverstone, especially as Jamie Oliver’s ‘Fabulous Feasts’ will offer you a mouth-watering memoir. It provides an alternative seated experience, as opposed to the more traditional mobile food venues. Although if it is Fish and Chips you are after, or even a Mexican feast there is an abundance of other options available.
