Dating back to 1815, this prestigious racecourse has attracted visitors for centuries. Cheltenham Races take place throughout the year, with lots of other exciting events that can be enjoyed too.
The Festival, which runs over two days from 1st – 2nd October 2016, is one of the most popular sporting events of the year and guarantees to provide lots of excitement, thrills and plenty of drama.
Then Ladies Day follows, giving the girls the chance to put on their best dresses and headwear. St Patrick’s Thursday celebrates the Irish saint’s day, with the main highlight being the Ryanair Chase and the Ladbrokes World Hurdle.
Finally, Cheltenham Gold Cup Day is the climax of the festival, with racing enthusiasts from all over the country flocking to see the ultimate races.
