After five years of enticing and thrilling audiences on the coast of Bournemouth, the end of summer will once again be celebrated in style. Joined by the Royal Navy and the RAF, the air festival provides something for all the family.
With surprises still in store, the 2012 air festival has already confirmed the Red Arrows, two Tornado GR4 jets, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight, the RAF Hawk training aircraft and the Black Cats helicopter display team. Plans are also being made to commemorate one of the red arrows finest pilots who sadly died in an air show shortly after last years Bournemouth air festival.
The night air show has continually become more and more impressive and with live music and circus entertainers, the festival ensures that the ground events are just as much fun as the air events. There’s plenty of daily entertainment and goings-on throughout the four days to make sure you don’t miss a thing.
