The Battle of Flowers is a great event for all of the Family to enjoy. The Grand Day parade is a spectacular event, this year to be held on 8th & 9th August 2013. 2011 saw 24,000 visitors enjoying musicians, dancers and the marvel of flower covered floats.

This grand celebration of reading attracts literature lovers of all ages and the literary line-up includes 600 speakers and esteemed writers who entertain the masses with their lectures and workshops. And the event isn’t just for the grown-ups either, as there is plenty going on for the younger readers too.
