Hosted by the renowned Beaufort Polo Club, The Gloucestershire Festival of Polo boasts an exciting weekend of world-class polo held from 18th to 19th June 2016. With something for everyone, the event combines this impressive equestrian sport with superb entertainment and a whole host of shopping opportunities in a tented shopping village. Gates will open for the event at 10am on the Saturday, with the Main Match played at 3pm.
But it’s not all serious competition, a charity polo match will be held on the second day of the event. With Gigaset sponsoring the match, it’s set to be a truly enjoyable way to raise money for charity with plenty of lively polo action. In 2013 Prince Harry helped bring the Beaufort Polo Club team to victory against the Duke of Cambridge’s Royal Salute team, so who knows what this year’s lively game could bring.
Alongside the exciting sporting action, there will be some excellent displays and performances as well as a tented shopping village featuring a wide range of stalls from over 40 exhibitors. Browse and purchase everything from equestrian gifts to polo equipment, clothes and accessories to home and interior products. There will also be a variety of food on offer.
Children under 12 can attend the event completely free and adults can save £5 by booking online now. Tickets will be available on the day for a cost of £15, which includes free parking. If you want something a little bit extra, a hospitality package is available for £135 per person, including a drinks reception, three-course lunch and afternoon tea as well as VIP Admission and entry to Members’ Enclosure.
